  24. WHAT IS IT?
  25.  
  26. - Initial set of NewIcons and application graphics done
  27.   in a realistic, gradient style (as much as possible
  28.   given the NewIcons palette).
  29.  
  30. - Approx. 190 icons and graphics (including new graphics/
  31.   toolbar replacements for YAM, MUI, and iBrowse).

  35. FEATURES

  37. - More realistic style, as opposed to standard cartoony
  38.   icons. Inspired by Keith Ohlfs' work on the NeXT icons.
  39.  
  40. - *CLEAR* difference between the selected and unselected
  41.   versions of the icon (some MWB/NI icon sets change only
  42.   a few pixels, making it hard to tell when an icon is
  43.   selected).
  44.  
  45.   This is the famous GLOW EFFECT(tm)! :-)

  47. - Hand-drawn (no dithered scans), hand-anti-aliased.
  48.  
  49. - Color gradients, soft shadows.
  50.  
  51. - Professional design. (No, really! I'm a professional
  52.   graphic designer).

  58. WHY VERSION 0.2?

  60. - These are the icons *I* needed on *my* system. As a
  61.   result there are significant gaps (for example, no icons
  62.   for MODs).

  64. - I'm reserving version 1.0 for when I have at least a
  65.   full replacement for the original Workbench icons.
